> On foot
The Maison de la Mécanique is located in COURBEVOIE close
to LA DEFENSE (near Paris), easily accessible by RER or subway.
At the subway station, line N° 1 Esplanade de la Défense,
go out through exit " Défense 2 and 10, Esplanade du
Général de Gaulle " on the left of TOUR GAN (tower
GAN), then walk towards LES MIROIRS, walk through the building and
then on the Courbevoie footbridge. An elevator will take you down
to the street Louis BLANC, where the Maison
de la Mécanique is located at N° 39-41
and N° 45. UNM is on the 3rd floor
of N°45.
>By road
When driving from Pont de Neuilly towards LA DEFENSE, turn to the
right after the bridge, then take the 2nd street on the left named "rue
de l'Abreuvoir": at the next crossroads, turn to the left, street " rue
Louis BLANC".
From "Boulevard Circulaire" (ring road), exit N° 1 – cars
can be parked in the N° 39-41 rue Louis BLANC carpark.
>By train
From Saint-Lazare station
SNCF train coming from Saint-Cloud, get off at Courbevoie station.
Train coming from Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche, get off at Courbevoie
station. The Courbevoie station is about a 15 minute walk from the
Maison de la Mécanique. Walk down the street "de Bezons" to
Place Victor HUGO, then turn to the right into the street rue Louis
BLANC and walk 200 m.
Train coming from Versailles Rive Droite, get off at La Défense
station, then take the subway line N° 1 going to La Défense
and get off at the station Esplanade de la Défense.

From station Gare de Lyon
Take RER line A going to Saint-Germain-en-Laye/Cergy/Poissy: change
at La Défense Grande Arche, then take the subway line N° 1
going to Château de Vincennes, get off at the station Esplanade
de la Défense. Then refer to "On foot" above.
From Montparnasse station
Take the subway line N° 13 going to Saint-Denis-Basilique Université/Asnières-Gennevilliers:
change at Champs-Elysées – Clémenceau, then take
the subway line N° 1 going to La Défense and get off at
the station Esplanade de la Défense. Then refer to "On
foot" above.
From station Gare du Nord
Take RER line B going to Robinson/Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse
(or RER line D to Melun/Malesherbes): change at Châtelet-Les
Halles.
Take RER line A going to Saint-Germain-en-Laye/Cergy/Poissy: change
at La Défense Grande Arche, then take the subway line N° 1
to Château de Vincennes, get off at the station Esplanade
de la Défense. Then refer to "On foot" above.
From station Gare de l'Est
Take the subway line N ° 4 going to Porte d'Orléans:
change at Les Halles station, take the RER A going to Saint-Germain-en-Laye/Cergy/Poissy:
change at La Défense Grande Arche, then take the subway line
N° 1 to Château de Vincennes, get off at the station Esplanade
de la Défense. refer to "On foot" above.
From Austerlitz station
Take the subway line N ° 5 going to Bobigny-Pablo Picasso: change
at the station Bastille, take the subway line N° 1 to La Défense
and get off at the station Esplanade de la Défense . Then
refer to "On foot" above.

Direct way Orly Airport - La Défense
Bus schedule: from 7:30 am to 10:00 am and from 3:00 pm to 7:00
pm.
Frequency: every 30 minutes
Journey time: 1 hour
Bus Air France + subway
Orly - Montparnasse - Invalides
Bus schedule: from 5:30 am to 11:00 pm.
Frequency: every 12 minutes
Journey time: 30 minutes
Get off at Montparnasse station, then refer to "Montparnasse
